THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED. KEEP AN EYE OUT OVER THE WEEKEND TO SEE IF YOU’RE A WINNER!
You could win one of five codes that will unlock all of Humble Bundle’s Doctor Who digital comics content!
Those kind folk at Humble Bundle have teamed up with Kasterborous to offer you the chance to read all of IDW’s brilliant multi-volume series starring the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors, David Tennant and Matt Smith.
Our giveaway codes give you access to all available content. That’s over 60 comics.
All you have to do is leave your most creative, thoughtful and honest response to the following question:
Which writer would you like to see pen an ongoing Doctor Who comic series – and why?
Just leave your thoughts in the comments section below. They can be as succinct or extensive as you like.
This exclusive competition is open now and closes at 12 midday GMT on Friday 23rd May 2014. We’ll let you know the five winners next weekend; if you’re a winner, please make sure you’re able to email us on Saturday or Sunday and we’ll send you a code.
There are no age or country restrictions. Entry is free. But we do ask that you redeem your winning code before Humble Bundle take down their Doctor Who series on Tuesday 28th May 2014 at 11:00am., PDT – because once they’re gone, they’re gone!
(And if you work for either Kasterborous or Humble Bundle, you are, naturally, excluded. Sorry.)
Humble Bundle is a pay-what-you-want service which allows you access to fantastic content for your computer or e-reader (including Kindle, Nook, and iDevices). It’s a cheap way of digging into quality comic books – but that’s not all.
Humble Bundle helps charities too; this Doctor Who bundle supports Doctors Without Borders, and The Comic Book Legal Defence Fund. If you buy a bundle, you choose how much money goes to which foundation.
The Doctor Who comics would usually cost over $70, but you can set your own price for Series 1 and Series 2. Paying an average of $10.99 will unlock Series 3, or pay a minimum of $15 and you can further access IDW’s 50th anniversary celebratory series, Prisoners of Time, and the conclusion to their 2008-13 run, The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who, written by Paul Cornell (Father’s Day; Human Nature/ The Family of Blood).
The bundle also includes 10 unlocked Doctors in the Android version of Doctor Who: Legacy.
If you have the urge to buy a bundle, don’t let our giveaway stop you: you’ll be helping out a charity of your choice and receive many hours of entertainment in return for your generosity.
Humble Bundle launched in 2010 and has raised $38 million for over 20 different charities and non-profit organisations. Nearly 30,000 Doctor Who bundles have already been sold.
Oh, and keep an eye on Kasterborous for a review of the bundles soon.
Thanks to Humble Bundle and IDW.
