IDW have announced their April 2013 releases and as well as comic book series for G.I. Joe, Mars Attacks, Star Trek and even My Little Pony, there’s plenty more to get excited about with some Doctor Who releases.
First up is the Doctor Who Classics range which has strips that have never been reprinted until now. April’s offering is a Seventh Doctor tale called Invaders of the Gantac, it’s a complete story released in colour for the first time!
Following on, there’s the conclusion to a two-part tale featuring the Eleventh Doctor written by Joshua Hale Fialkov, Space Oddity:
When a cosmonaut attempts the first space walk in 1965, the rest of his crew watches in horror as he’s swallowed whole by shadow. Only the Doctor can save the spacecraft and the historically important mission!
Could the Silence be hanging around, or maybe it’s the Vashta Nerada! You can only find out by reading the issue on the day of release!
When we hit April, IDW will release number four in their twelve part epic Prisoners of Time and as you can guess, this issue will feature the Fourth Doctor. The secrets are being closely guarded by IDW for this adventure that celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who but it’s safe to say that you won’t want to miss it!
